thanks for 57 years H

H. Campbell, a treasured member of Notre Dame IT for 57 years, is retiring today, March 31, 2026. Long before man first stepped foot on the moon, H. was already serving the University and supporting its IT services. Through decades of remarkable change, his dedication, loyalty, and willingness to help others never wavered.

Congratulations, H., on an extraordinary career of service and commitment. Your impact on Notre Dame IT will not be forgotten, and you have more than earned this well-deserved retirement. Wishing you all the best in this next chapter.

"I'd like to say thanks and farewell to H Campbell. Today is his last day after faithfully serving the University for 57 YEARS! H., we had our differences over the years, but I'd like to say thank you for the opportunity to work with you. The likes of you probably won't be seen again and we who remain are poorer for your loss. Good luck and take care! ...Also want to say, H., your level of devotion and service to the University is/was UNPARALLELED!!"-Pete Bouris
