With summer vacations winding down, area schools will be back in session soon. Let’s join together to help kids get started with the right supplies this school year!
There are two ways you can help:
Donate essential school supplies to be distributed to students in the Brandywine School System
Items will be accepted through Wednesday, Aug. 13. Just drop them off in the collection bin titled, “Back to School” at the ITC building loading dock or bring them to the “Recess” event on Aug. 13, between DeBartolo Hall and Duncan Student Center between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Items needed:
- #2 pencils
- Pencil top erasers
- Block erasers
- Spiral notebooks (not college rule)
- Adult size scissors
- Folders
- Dry erase markers
- Red pens for test grading
- Sharpies
- Earbuds for the Chromebooks (the plug in kind 3.5 mm jack)
- Kleenex boxes
- Clorox wipes
Donate via the 16 Pack-A-Backpack program
Sponsored by WNDU-TV and their partners. Monetary contributions of $10 are accepted. Your donation will help children from kindergarten to sixth grade throughout Michiana to provide supplies such as:
- Backpacks
- Pencil box
- Crayons or markers
- Glue sticks
- Folders
- Notebooks
- Filler paper
- Erasers
- Rulers
- Scissors
- Pencils and pens
