Staying one step ahead of email threats, Notre Dame launched a new email security service in November 2024.

What We’ve Accomplished

  • 221,241 Email Attacks Stopped

    • Attack types include:

      • Credential Lures

      • Invoice Fraud

      • Malware

      • Email Account Takeovers

  • 58,932 Reported Phishing Emails Automatically Remediated


How the Email Filtering Solution Works

🔍 Proactive Detection: Identifies and removes malicious messages from inboxes, often within seconds. These messages are reviewed by the Information Security team for accuracy.
🪄 Message Behavior: If you notice a message appearing and disappearing, it’s a sign of the security service taking action—no need for concern.
