Congratulations to Dawson Demien and Erick Smith, Community IT Experience, for your RecognizeIT nomination. Even though it wasn't actually part of the scope of the Ruby on Rails migration, Erick and Dawson put in some very hard hours troubleshooting performance problems on several of their Ruby apps post-migration. Through their hard work, some key Ruby apps that had been performing poorly for years now behave in a way that is less resource intensive and far more efficient than they were before. It was work that was long overdue, and you did it in the midst of a hurricane of other changes and shifting priorities going on around you. Kudos to you two!
