The Architecture team continues to advance the university’s technology framework by publishing several new and updated IT standards designed to improve consistency, security, and long-term sustainability across campus systems. These standards provide clearer guidance for solution design, procurement, and implementation, helping teams align their projects with enterprise architecture principles and make well-informed technology decisions. For teams interested in proposing or contributing to a standard, see the IT Standard Proposal and Approval Process knowledge base article.
Newly Published Standards:
All published standards are viewable in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance knowledge base in ServiceNow.
Office Hours
In addition, the team has launched Enterprise Architecture Office Hours, a new opportunity designed to make architects more accessible and available to the campus IT community. Campus technologists and project teams can drop in to engage directly with architects, ask questions, review ideas, and receive early guidance on solutions and standards. This effort supports the university’s IT Stewardship initiative by promoting thoughtful technology investments, encouraging early architectural alignment, and helping teams make decisions that maximize institutional value while reducing duplication and risk.
